(Agnes) Camilla Bernt is a professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Bergen, Norway. She is co-leader of the research group for Civil Procedure and Dispute Resolution. Her main fields of research are civil procedure, alternative dispute resolution, especially mediation, and best practice in administrative law. In recent years, she has especially focused on procedural matters in parental disputes on custody and contact and child protection cases. Particularly, she has focused her research on the use of experts (most often psychologists), and the use of mediation and similar methods.
