Research
The title of my PhD thesis was "Suicidality among individuals with problem gambling: A multi-method inquiry".
The Ph.D. project investigated the relationship between gambling problems and suicidality (suicidal ideation, -attempts, and death by suicide) and was based on (Study 1) a meta-analysis of previous research, (Study 2) a registry study linking the Norwegian Patient Register (NPR) with the Cause of Death Register, and (Study 3) a qualitative interview study among people with gambling problems who have experienced suicidality.
