Short info

I am particularly interested in gendered issues, kinship, and reproductive technologies, and in how reproductive decisions – especially abortion – unfold through the interplay of politics, legal frameworks, healthcare systems, and everyday life, in both Norwegian and international contexts.
Research

I am a PhD student in medical anthropology and affiliated with the project “Reproductive Interfaces: Politics, Power, and Patient Care in Second Trimester Abortion in a Scandinavian Welfare State.” My doctoral project examines how affect and values related to abortion – particularly second-trimester abortion – shape political discourse and legislation in Norway.
