Work

I am a PhD research fellow in Scandinavian Linguistics (2022-2026). My PhD education is provided by the University of Bergen and funded by Volda University College. I mainly focus on Norwegian place-name research, but am interested in Norwegian language history and dialects as well.

In my PhD research, I study variation and change in traditional dialectal pronunciation of farm names in Ullensvang between the end of 19th century and the end of 20th century.

Here is my profile at Volda University College.
