OPTIC-TB consortium monthly extended meeting

June 3, 2026, the OPTIC-TB consortium convened for its monthly extended meeting to review progress, discuss challenges, and propose solutions for the ongoing trials.

Coordinators from participating countries presented the status of the work packages under their institutions' leadership. This approach was developed to ensure that all milestones and deliverables are monitored and completed on time. 
 
Principal Investigators (PIs) from the participating institutions shared their perspectives on the challenges identified in each country and discussed potential solutions for implementation. 
 
Overall, despite the challenges faced across the region, consortium members continue to work diligently and collaboratively to ensure that the OPTIC-TB trials progress smoothly and remain compliant with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
