This course has a limited capacity, enrolment is based on application. The application deadline is Wednesday in week 2 for the spring semester. Please see this page for more information. You will receive confirmation of whether you received a seat in Studentweb no later than Monday the week after the deadline.
It is compulsory to attend the first lecture/orientation meeting, or you risk losing your seat. If you are unable to attend the first lecture, you must contact the Study Section (studie.bio@uib.no). The time of the first lecture/orientation meeting can be found in the schedule on the course website or on Mitt UiB.
Teaching and learning methods
Teaching is provided through lectures, practical training, group work, discussions and student presentations.
Lectures: 2 to 4 hours per week for 10 to 12 weeks (this also includes discussions and presentations, but not the practical training period.)
Practical training period: 15 days.
Compulsory Assignments and Attendance
- Compulsory work placement (15 days) + work placement report and presentation.
- Compulsory written assignments (3 assignments) covering the regulation and management part of the course.
Approved compulsory activities are valied for 6 semesters, including the semester of completion.
Forms of Assessment
- Portfolio evaluation.
