Mål og innhold

This is a project based module with a focus on a specific artistic RESEARCH project. In an experimental process a given RESEARCH issue is explored.

This module is based and organized within the framework of one of the ongoing research projects within the research-group Site & Context. This might be either one of PhD-projects or one of the research-projects by current members of the artistic staff.

Presentations and discussions form the discursive part, on the basis of which each student investigates issues, content and methods, leading up to individual and/or group presentations of the resulting artwork(s).

Goal:

Extended focus and insight into how site and context plays a vital part of contemporary artistic research; methods of relating to specific sites and reflections on context(s). Through the development of an individual and/or a group project the student will acquire experimental knowledge on how artistic research method can be used to investigate specific issues.
